Easy and simplistic directions. I have been sewing quite a few years but wanted to see if there's anything I can pick up and learn. And I Was happily surprised when she mentioned about leaving the elastic hole, the opening right over the side seam, making it easier to get the elastic in. Thank you friend. I would tell anyone to listen to You and learn.

I have no sewing skills whatsoever. My grandma and I did some tiny projects when I was a kid with simple hand sewing, and that's all I know.
I work as a children's librarian and I decided to do a Bluey party for the kids this summer. I wanted to wear something fun and Bluey themed but I couldn't find much for adults. I looked through the Creativebug videos and found this skirt and thought maybe, even I, could make this.
I don't know how to use a sewing machine, but I figured it was simple enough that I could did it all by hand, which I did, over the course of two evenings!
My skirt looks great! It fits and it's exactly what I wanted since i got to design it! This was so much fun I may even make more of these skirts for other occasions! (It'd be a lot faster if I learned to use a sewing machine, but this was a nice, calm activity to do by hand.)
